Treatment
Along with residential rehab, we have a great referral program for outpatient and day patient programs, in place of residential care or as an addendum. Often, people are unable to partake in residential rehab because of work, family or other outside obligations. At Palm Springs Recovery we try our best to work with each individual's needs and provide all of the necessary resources to do so.
The Palm Springs Recovery inpatient program may also include a medically supervised detoxification if required by the individual. Detox is used in situations where there has been chronic use or use of an extremely damaging substance. The detox process can take anywhere from 1-3 days up to a week. The residential portion of the process is where most of the change and difficult recovery work takes place. Our team works with all of the individuals - in group and one-on-one therapy, 12-step work and other self-discovering activities to find out what an individual needs to sustain long-term sobriety.
After Treatment
One of the biggest issues that newly recovering people face is the transition from residential treatment back to their "old" life. We encourage them to start their lives anew, but this is much easier said than done. Palm Springs Recovery offers resources in aftercare, extended care and sober living as well as relapse prevention services. We recommend these services to all of our clients, but specifically those who are chronic relapsers or people who have very serious or life-threatening situations. These services can be a weekly check-in, 60 days extended care, transition help and up to a year of follow-up therapy depending on the individual's needs.
Please call us at Palm Springs Recovery today to find out what works for you.
